By winning the Oceania LAN qualifier 2-0 over Chiefs, Grayhound secured the final slot for the $50,000 OMEN Challenger Series LAN in Jakarta.
The international tournament will take place soon, on November 1-3, with 12 teams from the APAC region in contention for the $50,000 prize pool. For most of the spots, online national qualifiers were held, with the Thailand qualifier seeing Alpha Red overcome Beyond for a spot, while Absolute took down Ignis 2-0 to secure the Japan slot.

OMEN Challenger Series 2019 Oceania Qualifier was held on LAN, in Auckland, New Zealand, with four prominent teams in the competition. Grayhound and Chiefs bested Genuine and ORDER, respectively, in the semi-finals of the single-elimination bracket, with the #17 team in the world, Grayhound, taking down Chiefs in the final with a narrow 2-0 victory, 16-12 on Nuke and 19-16 on Dust2.
Many of the teams in the competition will also be present at the eXTREMESLAND Asia Finals two weeks later in China, with November proving to be an action-packed month for the region.
